· In college I studied anatomy, physiology, Chinese medical theory, western pathology, acupuncture, Chinese herbology, nutrition, shiatsu massage, taichi, and qigong. · I did a 1 year internship where I studied with both Chinese and American acupuncturists and herbalists. · I did a 3 month internship in a shiatsu massage clinic. · I studied many different forms of qigong for 3 years and participated in the teacher certification for 1000 Hands Buddha qigong. · After school I participated in a Japanese acupuncture internship for 1 month. · I worked for 2 1/2 years with an MD in an integrated, holistic health clinic in Houma, LA. Also at the clinic were an OBGYN, a chiropractor, and massage therapists. · I taught introductory shiatsu massage for 1 1/2 years at Blue Cliff massage school in Houma, LA.
